RE: YAFFS fpr NOR flash: msg#00002linux.file-systems.yaffs
Although YAFFS was designed for NAND, some folk have used it in shipping products with NOR by simulating the spare region in NOR. I am not aware of any patches to support this, but it is quite easily done. Perhaps someone on the list that has done this will provide a patch set. -- Charles > -----Original Message----- > From: yaffs-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:yaffs-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of > Niraj Maheshwari > Sent: Thursday, 3 March 2005 7:17 p.m. > To: yaffs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [Yaffs] YAFFS fpr NOR flash > > > Hi, > > Does YAFFS work for NOR flash also ?
