I believe that this is a known documented issue of ntfs-3g.

Only Administrators can access files created by ntfs-3g.

Both ntfs-3g and the ntfs kernel driver ignore permissions, but Windows don't.

Do you work as an Administrator? If you do, say so and we'll guide you
further. If not, log in as one and give your usual user full access to
the files.
