Metadata (link to which I send in previous > email) demonstrates vice-versa. FILE_NAME attributes follow in order 2, > 3 (instance numbers) in the attribute list, but 3, 2 in the MFT record. Forgot to say, this is not libntfs attribute creation problem. Chkdsk happy with this volume. Inode with this problematic attributes was created long ago before ntfs-3g exist: File Creation Time: Tue Jul 6 20:34:05 2004 File Altered Time: Wed Dec 7 00:27:35 2005 MFT Changed Time: Wed Dec 7 00:27:35 2005 Moreover we do not create DOS and WIN32 filenames, so this attributes were definitely created by windows. -- Best regards, Yura ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
