thank you very much for providing the steps you went though in order to get 
intermezzo running. I think there ist a real need for this kind of informantion.

Could you please be so kind and put the info you found out and got on the list 
into our wiki at https://projects.clusterfs.com/intermezzo/FrontPage ?

It would be great if we could gather all relevant info in this place. Some of 
it should probably go into the HOWTO page there. It is real easy to edit for 
everyone.
