wacom works with X, but gimp and xidump don't see it: msg#00062linux.drivers.wacom
Dear all, I have a wacom tablet (Graphire, USB) and I managed to get it working on Linux... yet I don't get the final thing right: pressure sensitivity in the Gimp. Here is what I have: * AMD sempron * OpenSuse 10.2 * NVidia FX 5200, dual monitor. * The latest stable drivers from the linuxwacom project: 0.7.8-1 * One USB optical mouse * A Wacom Graphire USB tablet The tablet seems to function fine in X: * It does absolute positioning, and because I have configured the tablet with TwinView=horizontal, it changes screens without problems * The tip, and two buttons on the side of the styles work fine * The eraser and the mouse work fine too * wacdump gives correct output, while X is not running, and wacdump returns only 0 values while X is running But * The Gimp doesn't see any 'extended input devices' * xidump -l doesn't see the wacom stuff at all * xsetpointer -l doesn't see the wacom stuff. I would very much appreciate any help, Wijnand ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
