After more investigation, we found a fix (we had a similar issue with some touchpad which were using usbhid) for this bug : -currenly, Mandriva udev rules modprobe usbmouse for usb devices with mouse class (including wacom tablets) -we have added a new rule, processed before the "mouse class" rule, which modprobe wacom driver when a usb device with wacom vendorid is detected.
