0.7.7-11 works with kernel 2.6.21.6

Hi

I'm having a go with gentoo.  I have a locally built 2.6.21.6 kernel 
along with kde 3.5.5 and xorg 7.1.  While I'm still having teething 
problems, linuxwacom is working without problems.

For some reason if I have a ~/.xinitrc present kdm starts but the window 
manager does not (even if .xinitrc is empty).  Just a black screen with 
an X in the middle.  There are no error messages.  So I put the 
xsetwacom commands in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/40-wacom and they worked ok.

wacomcpl successfully changes the usable part of the tablet but it 
writes ~/.xinitrc which I have to delete before I can restart kde.
