An update on this patch. I've been doing some testing with different
firmware versions*.
The orinoco_cs driver works fine after the following firmware versions
are loaded into RAM:
v7.65 extracted from WLLUC48.SYS
v8.10 extracted from WLLUC48.SYS (PC-Card.zip)
v8.42 extracted from WLLUC48B.SYS (sr02_winxp.zip)
v8.58 extracted from WLAGS48B.SYS (AV_WINXP_PC_USB_SR0201.zip)
It does not work with:
v9.42 extracted from WLDEL48B.SYS (R69901_TrueMobile_driver_786.exe)
v9.48 compiled from wl_lkm_718 sources
Which I believe indicates the orinoco driver will need to be patched to
work with firmware v9+. (out of my depth here)
>From various readmes accompanying the drivers, it looks like there is
only RAM downloadable firmware from v7.52 (driver v7.06), and WPA is
supported from v9.42 (driver v7.86).
