Check the archives from last month. I posted a patch to do firmware
download for the orinoco_cs driver. I would assume that the airport is
not that different. You would need to extract a firmware image to use
for the airport, and tweak the firmware download stuff to cope with the
airport specifics.

As far as I can tell, the things to do to get working WPA (on orinoco_cs):

1. Find out why Agere fw 9.48 causes transmit timeouts with the current
driver.

2. Add ioctls for wpa_supplicant
     see <http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/5/30/433>

3. 'port' WPA stuff from the Agere wl_lkm_718 driver

At the moment I'm struggling to find time to spend on step 1 :(
