Orinoco Silver: msg#00009

Subject: Orinoco Silver
I bought Lucent Technologies Orinoco Silver (Hermes1). When i insert it Debian linux (2.6.8) detect it, and dmesg shows this:

orinoco_lock() called with hw_unavailable (dev=df13f800)
orinoco.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes-xT8FGy+AXnRB3Ne2BGzF6laj5H9X9Tb+@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> and others)
orinoco_cs.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes-xT8FGy+AXnRB3Ne2BGzF6laj5H9X9Tb+@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> and others)
eth2: Station identity 001f:0001:0006:0006
eth2: Looks like a Lucent/Agere firmware version 6.06
.
.....

It working in managed and demo ad-hoc modes i need somehow upgrade drivers to get monitor mode working.

I tried to install orinoco-0.15.tar.gz drivers but as i see in dmesg log it uses orinoco.c 0.13e drivers.

When i tried to compile drivers and made: make, make install (i see in console this)

debian:/home/orinoco/orinoco-0.15# make
make -C /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386 M=/home/orinoco/orinoco-0.15 KERNELRELEASE=2.6.8-2-386 modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'
  Building modules, stage 2.
  MODPOST
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'

-and-

debian:/home/orinoco/orinoco-0.15# make install
make -C /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386 M=/home/orinoco/orinoco-0.15 KERNELRELEASE=2.6.8-2-386 modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'
  Building modules, stage 2.
  MODPOST
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'
make -C /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386 M=/home/orinoco/orinoco-0.15 KERNELRELEASE=2.6.8-2-386 modules_install \
                INSTALL_MOD_DIR=kernel/drivers/net/wireless
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386'
/sbin/depmod -ae

Thats it, but i see it just entering and leaving directories but not compiling files, maybe it has to be as it is or maybe i am wrong.

Restarted after this pcmcia, pluged-out and in pcmcia card, and again in dmesg log it shows the same message:

orinoco.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> and ....

Why it is not using new drivers what i am doing wrong ? Please help me.

Regards
