Sorry if these questions are a bit user-oriented, but developers are
the people I need to ask ...
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Device/CompaqW200 is the
support page for the Compaq W200, which uses orinoco_usb. This is
reported not to work in Ubuntu Edgy, which uses a 2.6.17 kernel
variant.
So I wanted to let the users know what was happening with this device ...
1. Is anyone working on orinoco_usb at all any more?
2. Has anyone got it to work with 2.6.17?
3. Files are kept in svn now, not cvs. The cvs pull line is:
cvs -z3
-d:pserver:anonymous-099hYwuFAKQRVz71yTsr42D2FQJk+8+b@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/orinoco
co orinoco
- what's the equivalent svn command line?
4. Is there anything else users of this device should know?
And, if you want orinoco_usb users to test it, I'd be very willing to
help, and I'm reasonably sure a few other W200 users from the Ubuntu
forums would be too!
- thanks, David.
