I think you also got "Primary firmware is active" since the first number
in "station identity" is 0x15.

Yes, the problem is in the firmware.  The card doesn't have secondary
firmware loaded.  Unfortunately, the driver doesn't support loading of
the firmware yet.

That's what you would get if Kbuild is missing or the kernel is not
using it for some reason.  But anyway, the driver from subversion would
only compile for Linux 2.6.17 and newer, at least if you have PCMCIA
support enabled.
