Hello,
I have started to investigate implementing WPA in the orinoco driver. The
main obstacle so far seems to be sending the WPA IE in the
association requests.
What I need to clarify:
- Is there a way to prevent the card from sending association requests
while keeping the card in managed mode ?
- Could the card be put in monitor mode and send packets at the same time,
this would allow to do manual auth/assoc
- I have an apple airport, can it's firmware be downgraded to a
non-buggy one for monitor mode ?
- If not, is uploading a tertiary non-buggy one feasible ?

PS: I have a radiotap headers patch halfway done, is this prefered over
prism2 headers ?
