I just replaced Fedora Core 2 on my laptop with Gentoo, and got a 2.6.11
kernel with it. Having run the spectrum_cs driver previously to support
my Intel PRO/Wireless 2011B card, I downloaded orinoco-0.15rc2 again and
tried to get it to work.
However, the driver didn't compile cleanly against the 2.6.11 code, due
to some PCI functions having changed. When I fixed those, the driver did
compile, but pagefaulted (NULL pointer dereference) in the kernel when
requesting firmware.
I fixed that as well, and now the driver runs fine, so I thought I'd
post a patch to the list with my changes. I doubt they work on a 2.4
kernel, however, and I don't know if I may have broken something else as
well.
