Compaq WL110 cardbus: msg#00008

Subject: Compaq WL110 cardbus
Hi,

I've got some problems with my wifi Compaq WL110 pcmcia card.
If I boot my laptop with my wifi card plug in, system freezes. If i boot without the card, the system boots perfectly but when I plug my card, system freezes. When system freezes there's only one bip and the only away to reboot is to shut my laptop down with power button.
There's no output in syslogs to help.
My laptop is an HP/Compaq nx9005 and the pcmcia sockets are yenta.
