 Is the wireless channel usually set according to the country you are in?

 I did not need to set the country code or channel/frequency manually with
 previous snapshots up to 20060105 (1390).

 Now, if I run

 modprobe ath_pci countrycode=710 autocreate=ap
 }}}
 I get the following in /var/log/messages:
