The best place to ask for help is probably on a wireless- tools forum or such; anyone using that card under linux (gumstix or not) will likely have the same problem. You can probably use the wireless tools to load the firmware image to the card's RAM somehow when the card is detected. Looks like everything's OK at the CF layer.
