full duplex audio: msg#00123linux.distributions.gumstix.general
Greetings -- Here's an easy question that I can't seem to find much info about ... can the gumstix handle full duplex audio? (in and out at the same time) I'm working on a new design, but don't currently have an audiostix to test full duplex with. If the gumstix can handle full duplex audio, I'll then be willing to shell out the $$ for the necessary parts and units. This design calls for simultaneous input and output of WAV data (easily done in linux by reading and writing to /dev/sound) sent & received in near real-time via a network connection.
