Re: Buildroot on OpenBSD: msg#00112linux.distributions.gumstix.general
Hi Jeremy, > I can't get the buildroot to compile under OpenBSD. Is this a known > problem and are there any plans to fix it or should I just setup a > Slackware box for gumstix work? The following error was produced when I > typed 'make' What version of make are you using? when I do: make --version I get: GNU Make 3.80 Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. If you're not running GNU make, then you'll need to download it, unpack it, and run: ./configure make make install to build and install GNU Make. The construct used on line 240 is GNU make specific, so I'm pretty sure that's the problem. You can grab a copy of GNU make from here: ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/gnu/make/ Get the 3.80 version. -- Dave Hylands Vancouver, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the 'Do More With Dual!' webinar happening July 14 at 8am PDT/11am EDT.
