dpkg with mingw32 / win32: msg#00000linux.debian.ports.windows
Hi all, Is anyone currently working on getting dpkg to handle windows installs? I'm writing some cross-platform software, and would love to be able to use dpkg (and eventually apt or similar) to install dependencies. I'm happy to work on this myself, but want to check what other people are doing before starting on this. This would be fairly low priority for me. The main requirements I have are: - Assignment of architecture for control file (no obvious choices from ubuntu/gutsy `dpkg-architecture.pl -L`) - Assignment of standard '-admindir' (probably $PROGRAM_FILES$/dpkg) - Running 'dpkg -i' Thanks, Phil |
