Well, the idea of vim-full was to provide as much compile time options as possible. Has it been possible I would have compiler vim with support for all GUIs, given that it is not possible and that the Gnome GUI is a "superset" of the GTK one (that is: it uses both gtk and gnome) I went for it. After all, all current vim-{python,perl,...} are built with gtk gui, people wanting gnome are doomed to live without any interpreter support. Me too indeed. Probably most of the additional stuff is in separated packages on which vim-full depend.
