vim-full: msg#00118linux.debian.packages.vim.devel
Skimming through the BTS I found #149077 which discuss on the long standing issue of the vim-* packages. The bug report propose to add a new variant built with support for all interpreters. I like the idea. Providing variants for all possible combinations of interpreter/gui/... is unfeaseable and we already provide good approximations for the main interpreters and guis. Adding a vim-full variant built with support for all interpreters and gui will IMO make happy people with additional needs (e.g. a friend of mine filled a human-bug-report to me asking for a vim variant with python+gtk+gnome). What do you think? Cheers. -- Stefano Zacchiroli -*- Computer Science PhD student @ Uny Bologna, Italy zack@{cs.unibo.it,debian.org,bononia.it} -%- http://www.bononia.it/zack/ If there's any real truth it's that the entire multidimensional infinity of the Universe is almost certainly being run by a bunch of maniacs. -!-
