SuperCollider SCUM/SCEL: msg#00276linux.agnula.general
hey everybody, I have been desperately trying to install the SCUM version of SuperCollider but many things went wrong. I hope some of you might have ideas how to get around them... At first, FLTK wont install, because it does not find the X11 libraries (which must be installed, as Fluxbox for example is running quite well :)). Even passing a new directory to ./configure (the one where I think these libraries reside) does not really help. any idea? Another point is, that I need these libs: libsclang and libscsynth but I can't find them anywhere in the distribution (not even in the net!). Does anyone know how to get them (cvs is not one of my strengths) or how I can find them? At last, I would like to know if anyone managed to make SCEL (SuperColliderEmacsLisp) work, as I encountered diffculties configuring everything (basically I got to the point where SClang appears in the menu-bar of Emacs but does simply nothing). All the stuff I found was either very confusing or I could not really find the files mentionned. As I am really new to everything, I apologise for these basic questions. karsten ----- Original Nachricht ---- Von: users-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx An: users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Datum: 29.11.2004 02:55 Betreff: Users Digest, Vol 15, Issue 42 > Send Users mailing list submissions to > users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.agnula.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > users-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > You can reach the person managing the list at > users-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Users digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
