I booted demudi to get the data to answer your question, and the snd-hdsp module loaded, jack worked, rezound came up and started bouncing its meters, and the hdsp mixer and config programs came up. Nothing from the speakers yet, but I didn't expect there to be yet (I don't even know if they're plugged in -- signs of life from the RME card has been the problem). Maybe I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but now I'm more confused than ever. I swear I didn't do anything to it (that I know of). I looked through the output of dmesg, but didn't see anything of interest in there. There was some interesting looking messages on the console during boot -- do you know where they were logged? If you have any explanations or conjectures about this, I'd sure like to hear them. -- Glenn English ghe@xxxxxxxxxxx |
