I'm thinking about giving Hydrogen a try but I would like to use the drums
in the big GM soundfont I have. Can I configure Hydrogen so it uses them
directly from the big GM file or do I need to extract the samples /
individual instruments from the big file and make it load them one by one?
The "lots of audio tracks" options (either via Ardour or MusE with several
softsynths) are probably too much for my CPU, specially in conjunction with
LADSPA, which is the point of all this discussion! :-)

If you want individual reverbs on your drums you will either have to use
Hydrogen or record the tracks separately into Ardour. You can then apply
