[PATCH] segv reading history file

Attached is a patch to fix the problem reported by Dang En Ren on the 5th of December, 2005. The root problem is that a signed return value from getline is stored in an unsigned value (sz). The fix is to use a seperate return value (rv) which is the appropriate type for the error values returned by getline. This return value is then checked in both of the return parts, where sv is copied out to *len, and in the actual return itself. This fixes the reported test case. -- Chris Abbey, IBM Linux Technology Center, Embedded Linux Team The value of Open Standards is only evident to Open Minds. read-history-segv.patch Description: Text Data
