avi with sound: msg#01224lib.opencv
A video analysis software i developed should be writing the frames in an avi for further purposes. I have no problem using the writer structure. But my clients are demanding for sound support. I guess there is no sound support in opencv. So i looked out a bit on web. But the only solution for me now is to simultaneously record the sound and then mix up with virtualdub after the video and sound writing process. As you may guess this approach is so primitive that i really have to find an elegant solution for recording the avi with sound simultaneously. http://www.wischik.com/lu/programmer/avi_utils.html this link gives access to an avi processing library that mixes the avis with sounds recorded before the process. But it uses wavs for sound source that makes the final avis result so lamely huge. My question is is there a way for writing frames and sound, both compressed ,to avis ,directly?
