Frame rate problem: msg#01143lib.opencv
Hi, I'm actually using OpenCv on a Xp pro / AMD 3200+ plateform, with a 30fps-usb-logitech webcam. I use CvCam callback system to capture the frames but the I never get more than 9 fps, and sometimes even only 6fps (I only count captured frames and return form the callback). So my question is: Are usb cams so poor, and 9fps a normal frame rate for my config, or do I have to fix any software-thing to increase my framerate? Could I get better results using a 30$ USB/PCI card? (Motherborad: Asus's A8NE (nvidia nforce4 chipset)) Thanks :) Change settings: http://www.yahoogroups.com/mygroups, select Get Emails (get all posts) Daily Digest (one summary email per day) Read on the web (read posts on the web only)Or Unsubscribe by mailing OpenCV-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
