Re: using the opencv haarcascade trainning set: msg#00745lib.opencv
I can say it is not good for commercial. Another solution must be thought. You can understand why I am saying that when you run it and put a hand-written face shape in front of the camera. It also detects it. Also, it does detect everything seems like a face(for example figured walls, person neck part, car(from the front side)) SADI 2006/2/1, Giff <giffnews@xxxxxxxxx>: > > Hi all, hope your projects are going fine! > > Here is my question: > > the application I'm trying to develop is academical, but who knows, I > could make a good job and find a commercial use for it in the future... > > since I need a facedetection algorithm, I was thinking of using the one > provided with the opencv package and also the haartraining set together > with it, can I do that? > > Sorry if my question can sound silly to someone, I'm very new in sw > developing. > > Thanks > > > Change settings: http://www.yahoogroups.com/mygroups, select > Get Emails (get all posts) > Daily Digest (one summary email per day) > Read on the web (read posts on the web only)Or Unsubscribe by mailing > OpenCV-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Yahoo!
