Re: strmif.h?

I was able to solve this error.

FYI:: I am using MSVC++ v.6 and DirectX 9.0 SDK (summer 2004)

MY ERROR::
C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX 9.0 SDK (Summer 2004)
\Include\strmif.h(1018) : error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' 
before identifier 'HSEMAPHORE'

The solution for me was a two step process.

STEP 1::
Go here: http://dhost.info/realityfactory/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56
Read and follow QuestOfDreams' post starting off with "This is a
compatibility problem. Since the summer update 2004 DirectX doesn't
support the MSVC6++ compiler any longer. This doesn't mean you can't
compile the project, there are several steps you need to make"

STEP 2::
Go to message #23919 or here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OpenCV/message/23919
Read and follow Stathis' posted process.

This worked for me. I hope it helps some of you.
