new PDF version of spec

I haven't had time to roll in the newest minor revisions (that should  
happen next week), but I still have an interesting and useful  
development to report on the spec front...
While working on an unrelated project today where I was looking for  
PDF export tools for MS Word/MacOS with bookmarking support, I ran  
across an OpenOffice.org addon called extendedPDF by JDiSoftware.   
It's free and absolutely wonderful (and personally removes the last  
barrier for OOo becoming my preferred word processing environment).    
I converted the 1.1 specification over using extendedPDF, and it  
dropped the file size by about half and added embedded two-level  
bookmarking (matching the TOC) as well as embedded hyperlinks.  The  
download off the OpenAL documentation page is this new version.
If you do any word processing using OOo (or want to), extendedPDF is  
recommended.  It's already improved the usability of our spec by a  
huge amount.
