Hi,

I've discovered a basic cause, at least, for the pitch problems I've
been seeing with the engine sounds in my game - the WAV file is very
tiny loopable sample, around 0.023 seconds worth at 44.1 kHz.

What sound problems are these? In the previous release there had been:

1) pitch changes limited to a range (using a table to calculate some
float->int stuff)

2) Warp-around was not implemented correctly when pitch was not 1.0, so
there were clicks.

Were your problems one of those two?

No... I was experience a general "garbled" effect on our looped engine sounds when pitch was applied. There must be something wrong with they way the pitch-bending is done with relation to very small sound samples...

Thanks,
