Link error with CVS code for MSVC-8.0 x64 builds: msg#00013lib.boost.asio.user
Hi, I've been adapting a project to use the latest ASIO CVS and I've encountered a link problem which only manifests itself with MSVC-8.0 x64 builds. I'm using the asio.hpp header to blanket include all asio headers. Builds with MSVC 7.1 or 8.0 32 bit work. For 64bit builds I get numerous duplicate symbol errors all for the same symbol: error LNK2005: "unsigned __int64 __cdecl asio::detail::hash_value(unsigned __int64)" (?hash_value@detail@asio@@YA_K_K@Z) already defined in ..... Hope this is helpful to you for tracking down the problem. Kind regards, Eoin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
