Good point. Indeed, I hadn't thought of that. So, it's only logical then that LDAP is always queried whenever there is an entry like this: > group: files ldap in /etc/nsswitch.conf, no matter in what order they appear. But then: how am I supposed to start the OpenLDAP daemon? Is this only possible on a server that doesn't use LDAP-based groups at all? Kind regards, Erik Logtenberg. |
