Have you extended the AD schema with Microsoft Services for UNIX Server
for NIS?  The Attribute Mapping in nss_ldap will only work if there are
actually msSFU* as well as the other pertinent attributes on your
user/group objects in AD.

I didn't see in the original email any mention of the AD schema being
extended.

thank you for this hint. i am not sure, wheter the ad scheme is already
extended. i am not working on win servers in this company. i'll talk with
the admins, because i could really be not extended.
