Re: Really strange LDAP and ADS problem: msg#00016ldap.padl.nss
maybe andrew recihenberg found the problem: i got an email from him, but it isn't shown here, so a post it again: Betreff: RE: [nssldap] Really strange LDAP and ADS problem Have you extended the AD schema with Microsoft Services for UNIX Server for NIS? The Attribute Mapping in nss_ldap will only work if there are actually msSFU* as well as the other pertinent attributes on your user/group objects in AD. I didn't see in the original email any mention of the AD schema being extended. Check out MS Services for UNIX if you haven't extended your schema: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/interopmigration/unix/sfu/default.mspx ____________________ thank you for this hint. i am not sure, wheter the ad scheme is already extended. i am not working on win servers in this company. i'll talk with the admins, because i could really be not extended. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Really-strange-LDAP-and-ADS-problem-t1252871.html#a3335145 Sent from the NSS LDAP forum at Nabble.com. |
