Subject: Re: sasl simple bind.

Hi All,

Found the problem - it seems I was using ldap as well as pam in my sshd instead of just pam. Switching off UsePLK fixed it straight up.

Cheers,

Alan.

Hi All,

I've got a problem where every time sshd starts it tries to connect to the ldap server with a simple bind and fails.

I've got the sasl-secprops on the server set to noanonymous, noplain, noactive. I set these same properties in the /etc/ldap.conf and also put rootuse_sasl yes.

sshd_config has usePAM set to yes and my pam.d/sshd includes my system-auth which uses kerberos for authentication and nsswitch.conf is set to use files ldap for passwd and group

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Alan.
