i'm not sure where in need to specify which algo should be used in my
slarpd.conf file,
but i've tried every authenication mechanism luma has, simple is the
only one that will allow me to view my directory, but it won't let me
edit it. here's the output from the console:
Error during LDAP add request
Reason: {'info': 'modifications require authentication', 'desc':
'Strong(er) authentication required'}
