The LDAP server is running FC1 with openldap-2.1.25-5.

Luma is running on FC2 with the following packages:

python-2.3.3-6
python-ldap-2.0.1-0.fdr.1.2
openldap-2.1.29-1

All but python-ldap is from the Fedora distribution. python-ldap was
packaged by Fedora Extras.

Strange, indeed. I don't have this problem using some other clients nor
with the Web interface phpLDAPadmin. However, when I was using Windows, I
did have a problem with Softerra LDAP Administrator accessing the schema --
though I never bothered trying to figure out why it wasn't working, so it
may be unrelated.
