Hi Wido,
i indeed did compile those two packages myself. i kept having
other problems when trying to use RPM's, such as it not finding
libqtassistant.so, etc. so, i decided to just compile them for
myself. i apparently did something wrong. (=

i did try and compile them myself, the RPM's were not working for
me either. i wasn't even able to start to execute luma, it would
exit due to missing libraries (such as libqtassistant.so, etc), so
that's why i compiled them myself.
i will head to the PyQt mailing list and do some searching now.

if i am unable to find the solution on the PyQt mailing list, i will
start over and try using the newest version of Luma. thanks again
for the direction!
