If I make a mpeg4 iso codec compatible and I use a private fourcc (codec identifier), this won't make me guilty of stolen code... If you reverse engineering a format and manage to create an application that create a file, will you let's comment of proprietary application or change comment referencing to your software. For this reasons I didn't see it as a strong indication but only some hints. Pierre
