One more point how someone might proof use of UPX. The compressed SFX header contains some code which is executed when not running on Windows (standard MZ header). In UPX this header is a binary file which is just added to the file when compressing it. If this is the same it would be another indication that they realy use the same code. I guess there also is a way to see, what UPX/Netopsystems do to decompress the file when its executed. I am not so deeply involved to UPX to do such comparisions, but they should proof Netopsystems being guilty or not. I bet Markus Oberhumer will have a look at this.
