whatever happened with the update of SS to use a newer Seaside

Bert, as a really short term solution, you might try disabling the
"Always Redirect" option on the config page for that app. Not sure if
that'll work on not in this case but worth a try.
Doesn't help, the first page is still redirected. But thanks anyway.
