My best guess is that Xserver means "the X [as in X11 as in X Consortium
as in x.org as in XFree86 as in MIT's Project Athena] Window System
display server" whereas XServer might just mean an overhyped G4 mounted in
a rack [as in www.apple.com/xserve].

But I'm probably wrong.
