Re: Hey, it's the DynaBook!: msg#00038lang.smalltalk.croquet.user
Gary Fisher gave a fascinating link which I read at hyperspeed I was so excited. I wanted these poor construction worker kids in California to do VR construction work so I could be a sort of virtual grandfather. Crazy? Well, I want what I want. I didn't see a graphics card advertised and I know that croquet is (graphics?) processor hungry according to Americo. His headers are always games for one laptop per child and this does games! So, maybe it will do croquet. Gotta google. Jeez this is today, what a wonderful kick in the pants! Hey last slide google earth or world displaying browser is on this thing like my iPhone! ;-) "Check back later this week as I'll be posting a podcast of my interviews with OLPC CTO Mary Lou Jepsen and OLPC President Walter Bender." Hey, I know what I'm doing with my iPod next week, listening to this! Thanks, Gary Fisher!
