Google newsgroups seem to work well for the Django project (djangoproject.com). As far as I know, the newsgroups can be be subscribed as rss, email or just read through groups.google.com. Obviously google's search facility will also be very helpful. The Django people maintain three groups: one for django developers, one for django end-users and one just for announcements. The following message thread shows some problems as well: http://groups.google.com/group/django- developers/browse_thread/thread/fdb2c4722e66fd8a?hl=en (I have never maintained a list myself. I use either the gmane web interface to this group or thunderbird...since I don't subscribe to this list through my email account, too many messages haven't been an issue for me personally) |
