Hello All,
I have just joined rails-spinoffs mailing lists and I would like
to introduce myself. My name is Casey and I am a professional Web
and J2EE developer currently working out of New York. I am very
interested in contributing to the Scriptaculous javascript library.
For the past few months I have been using certain functions in the
library and I have to say that it has taken my projects to another
level. Like everyone else, I often I find myself creating new
controls/objects for functionality that does yet exist in the
library. Therefore I would like to possibly give some of my work
back to the community as well as fix bugs that I find as I work.
Lately I have been creating a tree structure for navigating
certain lists. I noticed a enhancement request(Ticket #2847) for
such an object and I thought that my code might be of some use to
project. I suppose the first question, is anyone currently working
on this enhancement? If someone is assigned to the item then I
would very much like to collaborate with them.
I hope to hear from the developers and I look forward to working
with the Scriptaculous community.
