Teaching OO using Ruby

Hello all,

I am very interested in teaching OO and currently doing some research on 
 OO teaching at university level.

Maybe I miss some information, but anybody has an experience in teaching 
OO using Ruby? Does Ruby has something like Education SIG (Special 
Interest Group)?

I guess that would be great to spread the language ;)

Any pointer or comments would be greatly appreciated.
