|We certainly could offer a .yaml bundle of some sort.
|
|The downside to this is that the downloaded ri data may not
|quite match
|the version of Ruby on a user's machine, no?
Now I'm just weirded out... I thought to my self "self, what would you
do with yaml files? It's failing when generating the RI. But then again,
I do have a directory full of yaml files..."
So I tried running ri from the command line - and it worked! So I rerun
rdoc to see again where it fails - and it didn't! I'll just blame M$...
:-)
As for downloading, I already have the std-lib and would appreciate a
similar bundle for the core-api also. It's true that it's not
necessarily the most accurate / matching what I have, but that's still
better than nothing. I believe a warning on the download page should be
enough for most users.
