Does cap 1.4.1 depend on net-ssh 1.0.10 or will it work with net-ssh 1.1.2? Tryin' to figure out if I can clean up my old net-ssh. Thanks, Wes

Previous Message by Date:Re: Git deployment w/ Cap 2.0Hey Jamis - I'd just like to mention that Garry's version of this is much better, and I'd love to see this incorporated in the next release if possible. I've verified that it works, as does topfunky's minor patch to it. http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/9635 Thanks again, Garry - great work. Not entirely CI, but nice for stakeholders to keep tabs on whats happening and not explaining to everyone on the team how cap works. My scripts are progressing, but their not the prettiest (yet). And I thought that if anyone has some ideas or feature requests that they can bounce it off here. Currently everything is cap 1, but I'm in the process of taking the first cap 1 auto-deploy mechanism over to cap 2. Here is my ideal capd / auto-cap: * Define exceptions over the normal Capfile (so that everyone still has the normal Capfile) * Report on failed deployments * Notify of new deployments to selected folks * Solid daemon, controllable with monit or similar * Gem for easy install So I'm gonna do start mapping the ideas and putting them into some proof of concept code (next weekend should be realistic). I need to feed off others that might need this, or have written similar hacks. Jamis, suggestions for a name?
