[OFF] Most efficient method of person to person payment

Whats the most efficient method of person to person payment, when the 
person spending lives in America, and the person receiving lives in 
England?

Everyone's trying to get a bite out of money transfers, so I'd like to 
know whats the most efficient. I've noticed banks can be really hungry, 
although I would have hoped they'd be the most efficient...
